The treasure hunt plot
For over 500 years, the most experienced historians have been trying to discover the contents of the Cryptex, the famous little chest containing a fabulous treasure. We know it was Mona Lisa’s only gift to Leonardo da Vinci. But what is it?
The goal of the treasure hunt is to decode three anagrams and obtain a code to open the cryptex and reach the treasure.
During this activity, you’ll discover works of art, and get a playful approach to this monument.
An extraordinary team-building experience
Provided with game books containing questions, riddles, maps and points of interest, you have three missions to complete among the museum’s emblematic departments: Ancient Greece, Egyptian Antiquities, French or Italian Paintings, Renaissance Sculptures, Crown Jewels or Islamic Arts… At the end of each circuit, you discover an anagram. Three missions, and three anagrams to unlock the Mona Lisa’s secret.
It’s all about team spirit and cohesion to solve the enigmas and progress through the game.
An exceptional location: the Louvre Museum
This activity takes place at the Louvre Museum, a place of art and culture intimately linked to the France’s History. Immersed in the rooms, teams explore the famous museum’s collections, which are among the finest in the world. In this unique, playful context, you’ll (re)discover emblematic works such as the iconic Mona Lisa, The Victory of Samothrace, a masterpiece of Greek sculpture, and The Sphinx, a thousand-year-old Egyptian masterpiece made of pink granite.
The game
Divided into teams and provided with game books, players explore the rooms of the Louvre Museum, in three emblematic sections. Through observation and group cohesion, they fill in three word pyramids to obtain three clues. These clues are the key to opening the famous cryptex and discovering the Secret of the Mona Lisa!
Our animators are on hand to lead this activity with your company's teams. Experienced in the principles of team building, they guide participants through this fun-filled activity (welcomeìng, briefing, immersion, prize-giving, ranking, etc.).
