A GAME TO RAISE AWARENESS
Like a Cluedo game, the goal of the mission is to discover the murderer and the weapon, but in this version, players also have to find out the origin of the train. Immersed in a plot that takes them back to the museum’s past, a former train station from the early 20th century, players explore and observe the Musée d’Orsay’s prestigious collections to solve the riddles.
The TEAM BUILDING STEPS
At each step of the game, players are faced with different challenges, reflecting various handicaps. This encourages participants to work together to find innovative solutions to succeed in their mission. Alternatively, players may be deprived of their sight, hearing or use of an arm, or be forced to use a wheelchair and decode clues in Braille.
A SUCCESSFUL SENSITIZATION
By really putting themselves in the shoes of a disabled person, players experience for themselves the everyday difficulties they may never have thought of: communication barriers, the way others look at them, the unsuitability of the environment, etc. The game becomes an effective means of delivering the message of inclusion, as participants retain a more vivid memory of the experience and what it taught them, being actively engaged in the activity.
The Game
Provided with playing cards representing details of the exhibited artworks, players explore the museum's rooms over 2 levels. Using these clues, they collect 4 weapons, 4 cities and 4 characters. Each team then puts its deductions back into the story and solves the investigation. With the added challenge of a handicap! (All materials provided)
